Before You Arrive
What to Wear
Silks, Hammock, & Loops/Straps Classes
- Wear fitted clothing that covers the backs of the knees, midriff, and armpits
- Remove all jewelry and piercings before class
- Permanent jewelry should be taped over or otherwise secured when possible
- No clothing with zippers, buttons, or other sharp hardware
- Long hair should be tied back
- Keep nails trimmed short to help protect the equipment
- Pointed artificial nails are not permitted for fabric classes
- Follow all of the above guidelines for fabric classes
- Socks may also be helpful or preferred for comfort on the apparatus
- Rock rosin is available free of charge during aerial apparatus classes
- These classes generally require more exposed skin for grip, so shorts and tops that expose the legs and armpits are recommended
- Layers are encouraged so they can be removed as needed during class
- Knee pads may be helpful for floorwork and conditioning
- Heels are optional unless otherwise noted in the class description
- Please avoid applying lotions or oils before class, as they can interfere with grip and safety
- Pole attire should remain family friendly unless the class is designated as adults only
- For adult-only classes, please arrive with layers over your pole attire and remove them once inside the pole studio
- Dry Hands is available for purchase at the studio, or you are welcome to bring your preferred grip aid
- Please arrive in clean gym shoes and loose fitting bottoms.
Additional Things to Know
- Please bring a refillable water bottle; a water bottle filling station is available on site
- Yoga mats are provided
- Arriving a few minutes early is recommended if this is your first class. Students over 10min late will not be permitted to attend class (except open gym).
- For minors attending class: parents or guardians must come into the studio at the start of class to ensure another adult is present. If there are not two adults in the studio, a parent or guardian may be required to remain on site during class in accordance with Safe Sport guidelines
- Please record expected absences in the student portal as this will inform the instructor immediately. Make-up punch passes will be issued if recorded at least 6 hours prior to start of class for a max of two classes a month. Aerial classes are issued two open gym passes and non-aerial classes are issued one drop-in class pass. If you prefer the other type of pass, please state so in the comments when recording your absence.
- Drop-in, Intro classes, Open gyms, Workshops, and 1:1 Private Lessons can be canceled up to 1 day prior to class or rescheduled up to 6 hours prior to class. If canceled at least 1 day in advance, you will receive credit or refund back in the form you paid. For multi-student Private Lessons or Parties, the entire event can be canceled up to 1 day prior to the start of the event with a 20% cancellation fee, and rescheduled up to 6 hours prior to the start of the event.
